Coronavirus in Uttar Pradesh

The coronavirus pandemic was first confirmed in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh on 5 March 2020, with the first positive case in Ghaziabad. As of 20 April 2020, the state has 1337 confirmed cases. Uttar Pradesh is an Indian state in the eastern region. Its the capital city is Lucknow (formerly Calcutta). In this state, the coronavirus is spreading very fast. At present, there are 1337 cases are found in Uttar Pradesh. And also the death toll is raised to 21. The government of Uttar Pradesh is taking many preventive measures. To stop the Coronavirus Pandemic in the state, it declared a 14-hour voluntary public curfew on 22nd March 2020, which is invoked by our Prime Minister sir Modi. And after that, it also declares the first 21 days lockdown which was said by the Prime Minister sir. In this state, the first coronavirus positive case was found on 17 March 2020. And the first death found on 23 March 2020. The Indian government announced 21 days of lockdown in entire India to control the outbreak of COVID-19. But according to the latest updates about coronavirus in India, this lockdown situation is extending. The government is helping the poor by giving daily needs like rice and many more. Our Prime Minister Modi Sir started Fund collecting any many people are giving money to PM sir to help the poor. Because there are so many people who can eat daily when they have work daily. So our government is helping the poor in this lockdown situation. The government banned many parks, movie theatres, temples, shopping malls, commercial complexes and many more. Every state government announced that there are no exams for class 6 to class 9. These students can directly be promoted to next class. Every school, college, institution, coaching centres are closed until this outbreak of coronavirus stopped. Indian Government is working hard. It’s working level is in peaks to stop this pandemic spread of coronavirus in entire India.

LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh has recorded its first casualty owing to COVID-19 with a 25-year old from Basti having tested positive after his death on March 30 at Gorakhpur’s BRD Hospital. This is also India’s youngest death so far. The youth was brought to Gorakhpur’s BRD Hospital on Sunday evening and was suffering from kidney and liver problems, the institute’s principal Ganesh Kumar has told PTI. He passed away on the morning of March 30. The sample was then sent for testing to Lucknow’s King George Medical University where the result came positive which has sparked the fear of the youth passing it on to many people he may have come in contact with, including doctors and paramedics. Gorakhpur’s chief medical officer and the DM have been reviewing the situation at the hospital. Uttar Pradesh principal secretary (Medical and Health) Amit Mohan Prasad on Wednesday said that there are no COVID-19 active cases in the Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Hathras, Bareilly, Prayagraj, Shahjahanpur, Maharajganj, Barabanki, Hardoi and Kaushambhi districts of the state. The Cabinet on Wednesday approved an ordinance to make violence against health workers non-bailable offence. In case of serious injuries to healthcare workers, the guilty will face imprisonment up to to 7 years. At least 137 new coronavirus cases were reported in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, taking the tally of cases in the state to 1,337. The toll stands at 21 in the state. Meanwhile, Gujarat saw a rise of 127 cases in 24 hours, resulting in the toll rising to 2,066, which includes 131 recoveries and 90 deaths so far. The Tamil Nadu government said that 76 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the state on Tuesday, taking the total number of positive cases in the state to 1,596. One death was also reported, and the toll rose to 18 in the state. Fifty-six new COVID-19 cases were reported in Telangana on Tuesday, taking the total number of cases in the state to 948.

In Uttar Pradesh 19th May 2020, 4,605 Cases are Confirmed and Active Cases are 1,704, Recovered Cases are 2,783, Decreased 118.

On 17 March, the Uttar Pradesh state government has banned international flights and people travelling from one place to another. They also stopped the travelling facilities, trains, and closed all public gathering places like shopping malls, market complexes, movie theatres, parks, zoo, and also the schools, colleges, universities, institutes, coaching centres, and many others are closed. The government authority has declared that after 21 days lockdown completes then some of them will be opened for a particular time. But now as our Prime Minister Narendra Modi invoked a second level lockdown for the entire country till 03 May 2020. So the Uttar Pradesh is now lockdown for these days. District magistrates were instructed to spread awareness through posters and banners on the Coronavirus disease. Additionally, an appeal was made to religious leaders to avoid crowding in temples, mosques, gurudwaras and churches. Slaughterhouses in the state were ordered to be closed.
