In Tamil Nadu state, the coronavirus affected persons are increasing daily. The Chief Minister, K. Palaniswami is taking many safety measures to stop this outbreak. The government also stopped the outers entering into the state for a few days. The entire state is now in a situation of quarantine for 21 days. The government of Tamil Nadu state is spraying sanitizers in every street to kill the virus on the roads.
The first coronavirus infected person is a 45-year old man. He was returned from Oman. He is a resident of Kancheepuram. He is transferred to Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital. He had symptoms of fever and cough. And he started difficulty breathing so he consulted a doctor. Then he was referred to a hospital in Chennai and then he was moved to the isolation ward in the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital (RGGGH) Chennai. His samples were sent to the National Institute of Virology in Pune for testing soon after. Eight members of his family have been placed under observation and so have 19 others, an official of the Directorate of Public Health said. Samples will soon be collected from his family members, the official added.
The second coronavirus case in Tamil Nadu is transmitted from Delhi. A 20-year old man who travelled from Delhi by train is a coronavirus tested positive person. He is the second person in Tamil Nadu who are suffering from this virus. It was recorded over 10 days from the first case in the Tamil Nadu state. The Health Minister C Vijaya Bhaskar sir mentioned that the first infected person who is a 45-year old discharged after his recovery. He is having some travel history of another country. But the second affected person is not having any travel history. But he is tested coronavirus positive. He is a travel history in our country only. He hailing from Delhi and was currently in the isolation ward in RGGGH Chennai. The state government has already announced a lockdown, declaring holidays for all educational institutions and closure of places thronged by the public in large numbers such as liquor bars, theatres, malls and resorts till March 31.

The first death of coronavirus is the 12th infected person in the state of Tamil Nadu. This is a male person. And he is 54-years old. He is the 12th coronavirus tested positive person in the Tamil Nadu state. He had comorbid conditions like “uncontrollable diabetes and hypertension” and COPD. With his death, the death toll to 11 in India. The man, who did not have any travel history outside Tamil Nadu, is believed to have contracted COVID-19 after he came in contact with a group of tourists from Thailand — two of whom are currently at the Government Hospital in Perundurai in Erode Erode district after having tested positive for the virus.
The government of Tamil Nadu is taking care of the people in the state and still the corona infected cases are increasing. The government has announced lockdown for 21 days. And also announced the closing of all schools, institutions, coaching centres, shopping malls, parks, commercial complexes and many more which are the places of gathering at a large number of public areas.
