The Aliah University has directly conducted the Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT). By this entrance examination, the students can be admitted into the various UG and PG courses and this can be five years of the degree. The candidates who are enrolled for the AUAT exam they can only eligible for the exam. The exams were conducted on different dates for the candidates of undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG). AUAT important dates 2018

The important dates for the AUAT entrance examination are different for the undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) courses. The application for the Undergraduate can be released in the month of May and for Postgraduate can be released in the month of  May. The exact date of the notification is for UG courses in 2nd week of May and for UG courses in the 3rd week of July. While the results were released in the month of July 2018. Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) important points

  • The AUAT examination will tentatively start from May and the dates for UG, PG and MM courses will be different.
  • The AUAT test duration for UG and MM courses for 1 hour 3o min and the duration of PG course for 2 hours.
  • The question paper will be in objective type and some language papers may consist of descriptive type questions.
  • The AUAT examination paper will consist of 50 and 100 questions and it will be based on the course.
  • The AUAT exam will be purely offline mode.
  • The exam was in the English language.
  • The reservation will be given to the students from outside West Bengal is only 5%.
  • The AUAT examination result will be expected to be released in the month of May and the results for PG course will be in End of July.

AUAT eligibility criteria 2018

The candidates before applying to the AUAT examination must check the eligibility criteria given by Aliah University. The eligibility will depend on the residential, educational, and age limit. For detailed info on eligibility can given below. So, check below for more information.

AUAT Residencial criteria:

  1. The students who are applying for AUAT exam must be the citizen of West Bengal and they can be there at least 10 years to apply in the general quota.
  2. The students from other states must apply in the other state (OS) quota.

 Age limit of AUAT 2018:

  1. The students who want to apply for UG course (except BA Theology courses) must have the age limit of 5 years integrated course i.e. the candidate have 22 years as on July 1, 2018.
  2. For MA (Urdu, History, Geography, English, Bengali, Arabic), M.Sc (Mathematics, Statistics & Informatics) BA (Islamic Studies, Theology), and MCA CSE courses the age limit will be 28 years as on July 1, 2018.
  3. For M.M/MA Theology the age limit will be 28 years as on July 1, 2018.
  4. For M.Tech (CEN, ECE, CSE, EEN & MEN),  LLM and MA/M.Sc Journalism & Mass Communication courses the age limit will be 35 years as on July 1, 2018.

Educational qualification:

For B.Tech (CEN, ECE, CSE, EEN & MEN) Courses, 5 years Integrated BCA-MCA & B.Sc-M.Sc in CSE

  1. The student must clear the 10+2 exam with Mathematics, Physics and  Chemistry are mandatory subjects and also get the total of 100 marks minimum in each subject.
  2. Also, the students must clear the 12th exam with an aggregate of 60 % in PCM and in Maths with 50 % individually.

 Lateral entry to all B.Tech 2nd Year Courses

  1. The students must complete the diploma course in engineering with an aggregate of 60 %.
  2. The students who are appearing for the end examination of diploma in engineering must secure at least 45 % in first 5 semesters.

5 years Integrated B.Sc-M.Sc (Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Mathematics & Computing, Physics, Statistics & Informatics) courses

  1. The student must complete the 10+2 exam with PCM as a mandatory sub and must secure the total of 100 marks in each.
  2. The student must have an aggregate of 60 % in total and an aggregate of 60 % in related subjects.

5 years Integrated BA-MA English BBA-MBA

  1. The students must complete the 10+2 exam and must have minimum marks of 100 and also having an aggregate of 60 % in BBA-MBA and an aggregate of 60 % in English.

5 years Integrated BA-MA & B.Sc-M.Sc Geography

  1. The students must complete the 10+2 exam and must have minimum marks of 100 and also having an aggregate of 60 % in Geography.
  2. For B.Sc-M.Sc the students must complete any 2 science sub and in Addition to Geography.

MA/M.Sc Geography and MA (History, Arabic, Bengali, English, Urdu)

  1. The student must complete the History Hons or Geography Hons with a min aggregate of 45 %.

All M.Tech Courses

  1. The students must complete the B.E/B.Tech in a related course from the AICTE-approved institution with a 6.5 DGPA.
  2. The students who currently write the 7th sem examination, they have 6.5 DGPA till the 6th sem.

MCA CSE

  1. The students must complete BCA/B.Sc Hons from a Recognized University contains the Maths as a mandatory sub and also having an aggregate of 45 %.

M.Sc Mathematics

  1. The students must complete the 3 years degree course with an aggregate of 50 % Maths (Hons) or Major subject.

M.Sc Statistics & Informatics

  1. The students must complete the 3 years degree course with an aggregate of 50 % Maths or Statistics.

LLM

  1. The students must complete the 3 years degree course with an aggregate of 45 % in LLB

BA (Arabic, Theology, Islamic Studies, Urdu)

  1. The students must complete the 10+2 exam with an aggregate of 45 % in related sub.

B.Sc Nursing

  1. The students must complete the 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCM) as a mandatory sub and have the total of 100 marks in each.
  2. The students must complete the 12th exam with an aggregate of 45 %.

AUAT 2018 Application form

The application form to apply for the Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) is available on the official website of Aliah University very soon. The application will be available only in online mode. The complete details to apply for the online is given below so check below for more details. The students can attach some documents while filling the application form.

  • Firstly log on to the official website of Aliah University at “www.aliah.ac.in“
  • Then hit the “AUAT 2018” button.
  • Click on the “apply online” button.
  • Then fill the details like student Name, DOB, Quota (General, Other States), Physically Challenged, Marital Status, Category, Sex, Year of passing, Board/Council/University of the last examination passed, Examination level passed, Permanent Address, Correspondence Address, Mobile, etc.
  • Upload the photograph with size of 200 X 200 pixels and it is not less than 200 KB and it will be in jpeg, jpg, or png format and signature with the size of 300 X 100 pixels.
  • The student can have a choice of selecting the 3 courses which will be based on the eligibility criteria.
  • The students have to choose the 2 exam centers based on their preference.
  • The final allotment of exam center will be based on the university.
  • Then pay the required application fee based on the courses which will you choose.
  • After successful payment of application fee then take the printout of the application.
  • The documents to be attached to the application form is Print out of application Sheet, Marks sheet, age proof, residential certificate, proof of quota.

AUAT exam pattern 2018

Before going to write the AUAT 2018 examination you should know the how the exam will be going on. If you have an idea of examination pattern then you will write the exam very well within the time. So, below you can get the simple steps for the Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT).

  • The AUAT 2018 exam will be conducted only in offline mode i.e pen and paper mode.
  • The time duration for the UG and MM courses is 1 hour 30 min and the duration of PG course is 2 hours.
  • The total number of question will be asked in the exam are 100 and that is multiple choice questions.
  • The question papers will consists of 2 sections in AUAT question papers i.e part – A and part5 – B.
  • In part -A for UG/MM courses will contain the 10 objective questions (each of 2 marks) and part -B will contain the 40 objective questions (each of 2 marks).
  • In part -A for PG courses will contain the 25 objective questions (each of 1 marks) and part -B will contain the 75 objective questions (each of 1 marks).
  • For language based courses 20 to 25 question will contain the descriptive type questions.
  • The AUAT question paper will be in English and that is except for the language based courses.
  • The students can mark their right answers on OMR sheet provided by Aliah University.

AUAT 2018 Exam Centers

The AUAT examination will be conducted only in the West Bengal state. There are around 16 cities in the WB there the exam will be conducted. The choice of examination center will depend on the authorities of Aliah University. The students who can write the entrance examination may report at the examination centers before the reporting time. The candidate may select any examination center based on their preference among the following examination centers. The exam centers for AUAT exam 2018 is given below.

The syllabus for the UG and PG courses will be different based on the course. The UG and MM syllabus is based on the 10+2 and the PG syllabus is based on the curriculum of undergraduate courses.

AUAT Admit card 2018

The candidates who are going to write the AUAT entrance examination 2018 can download the AUAT hall ticket from the official website of Aliah University at aliah.ac.in. The AUAT call letter was issued for the UG and MM courses and PG courses in different time. The expected date for the UG and MM hall tickets release date will be the second week of May and for PG course it will be in last week of June. The hall ticket will not send to the candidate individually through post. The AUAT admit card will only available in online mode. You can your hall ticket by entering your Registration/application number and date of birth.

The AUAT result 2018 will firstly release on the official website of Aliah University aliah.ac.in. The results will be expected to be released in the month of May last week for the UG and MM programs and second week of July for PG programs. The candidates who got the rank in the entrance examination may get the individual rank and related information of the AUAT exam 2018. The AUAT result sheet 2018 will contain the details like Application ID, Name, General Rank, PC Rank, OS Rank, Status. AUAT counseling

The candidates who can get the rank in the AUAT entrance examination 2018 are eligible to apply for the online. The successful candidates may apply for the e-counseling process which was conducted by Aliah University. If in any case, anyone does not appear for the counseling process then the fee will not be refundable. In case the university will not allocate the seat for the qualified candidates then the fee will be refundable. The candidates can apply for the counseling procedure by using steps. So, follow these steps to apply for Aliah University counseling process.

  1. Firstly, log on to the official website of Aliah University at “www.aliah.ac.in”
  2. Then click on the “AUAT 2018” button.
  3. Click on the ” click here to register for e  – counseling” tab.
  4. Enter your application number and date of birth in the given fields.
  5. Then click on login button.
  6. Click on “go for e – counseling” tab.
  7. Then select the courses which you like and the number of the course will be based on the courses that you are applied while filling the application form.
  8. Then the students will pay the fee for the e-counseling process i.e Rs.500/-.
  9. The payment must be paid by using through Debit Card, Credit Card, or Internet Banking.
  10. Take the print out of counseling application.
  11. Then the candidates are waiting for future notification given by the university.
  12. After successful application process of counseling, the candidates will attend the Counseling process which will be held on the dates given based on your rank.
